Mildred Pierce is popping in for our May Pop-Up Dinner!
In celebration of Mothers Day, we are honored to have Chef Shelagh Connolly grace our kitchen with estimable cooking prowess, razor sharp wit, and flair for the dramatic.
Shelagh is the daughter of a proud and noble Saint Paul clan, a Judge for a father and the City's beloved Poet Laureate, Carol Connolly, for her mother. Shelagh earned her reputation as a master chef toiling at fine dining establishments such as W.A. Frost, Bravo!, the Dakota, and ultimately her own, much loved and dearly missed restaurant, Mildred Pierce, which enlivened the Saint Paul dining scene from 1999 to 2003.
Shelagh currently spends her time writing and also works as a Housing Organizer with the East Side Neighborhood Development Company improving housing on the Saint Paul's East Side.
This will be a rare opportunity for those outside of Shelagh's close circle of friends and family to experience the awesomeness that is her cooking!
